Authentic African Artistry features a large inventory of 100% authentic items to choose from. There are no imitations, as each piece comes directly from our own center in Zambia. Authentic pieces of artistry may take 1 to 2 weeks to create, and other larger projects may take more than a year from start to finish, including cutting the wood, kiln drying, carving, and final staining as each piece is unique.

Fine Exotic Woods
Our products are made using solid exotic woods including ebony, rosewood, and mukwa. Mukwa is native to Zambia and is only found in southern and central Africa, so the availability of these unique pieces is extremely limited. All of our wooden doors, artifacts, furniture, and collectibles are kiln dried in Africa to prevent warping, then stained and finished. To extend their life and to further prevent warping and infestation, all of our products are completely finished before they leave Africa and are ocean-shipped in protective containers to any destination in the world.
